Brothers Ryan and Shane Mcgrotty started REP in Longmont, Colorado, in a small retail storefront with a garage in 1,200 square feet. Their mission was to provide high-quality gear that they would use and love themselves while bringing back the art of customer experience. Even in their humble beginnings, their goal was to see people's eyes light up when they entered the space.

In 2023, REP pledged $100,000 to three charities supporting military and first responder families, aligning with their values of giving back to those who serve our nation and community. The three charities they donated to were The First Responders Children's Foundation, Folds of Honor, and the Gary Sinise Foundation.
